1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Juxtah (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Who Can Use Juxtah
You must be at least 13 years old to use Juxtah. By using the app you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at dane@juxtah.app if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. What Juxtah Does
Juxtah lets you:
- Save and organize locations you want to visit
- Extract locations from links (blogs, social media posts, etc.)
- Receive notifications when you are near a saved location
- Create lists and notes around your saved places
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or interfere with the app or its servers
- Submit links containing malicious content
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Use the app in any way that could damage or overburden our systems
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Juxtah offers a free tier and a premium subscription (“Juxtah Premium”). Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. All purchases are subject to Apple’s payment terms. We do not process payments directly.
Refunds are handled by Apple. We do not issue refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Subscription pricing is displayed in the app before purchase. Prices may change with reasonable notice.
7. Free Tier Limitations
The free tier of Juxtah includes a limited number of saved locations and URL extractions per month. These limits are displayed in the app. Upgrading to Juxtah Premium removes these limits.
8. Your Content
You retain ownership of the locations, lists, and notes you create in Juxtah. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and sync your content for the purpose of providing the service.
We do not claim ownership of your content and do not sell it to third parties.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed from our servers.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Disclaimers
Juxtah is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- The app will be available at all times
- Location data or extracted information will always be accurate
- Notifications will always fire at the expected time
Use of location-based features depends on device permissions and GPS availability.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Juxtah and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
